I'm grateful for my new breadbox! It has solved the problem of my messy benchtop, cluttered with baked goods and bread. It is sufficiently spacious, keeps my food fresh and adds an appealing touch to my kitchen with its bamboo & white look. It is straightforward to assemble and includes all parts needed, including a quality screwdriver. Tip: use coconut oil in the grooves to ensure the door rolls smoothly.
We have a ridiculously small kitchen/bench space and the mess from the assortment of bread and muffins was hurting my eyes. Looks beautiful, fits a lot in and can even put something on top. I put coconut oil in the door grooves and the roller door works great now. Highly recommend.
Before I bought this bread bin my kitchen bench was littered with packets of bread and jars of peanut butter and honey. The bread bin is large enough to accommodate the bread, the small jars and a bar of fruit cake. Having these things in the bread bin provides more room on the bench for meal preparation. The roller door needs to be gently handled when opening and closing it, as it is a little stiff. Highly recommended.
Don't worry about the negative reviews here, the stiff door has a super simple fix with coconut oil. It glides open wonderfully now. As a gluten-intolerant person, this bread bin is everything as I can keep my safe bread on top and the rest of the family's bread on the bottom!

Yes. Bread keeps best closed in at room temperature, away from light, which is exactly what a bread box does. How long it lasts depends on the bread.

Bamboo is a natural material, so the door can feel firm at first. Rub a little coconut oil into the grooves and it glides. If it still sticks, email us and we'll send a replacement part.
